The Fa Family (Tony Fa, Loni Fa, and Leila Fa), are the first amongst the many Polynesian instructors to get certified in the Xtreme Band. What started off as something they enjoyed doing as a family during the pandemic to get active, later lead to now over 300+ Polynesian instructors worldwide teaching step in their communities and also many Polynesian’s around the world transforming their fitness journeys through step as students in these classes as well. Their involvement in leadership in the Xtreme brand, with Leila Fa being a Master Instructor and Tony Fa as one of the brand’s integrity advisors, they make sure the Polynesian people are always represented in the Xtreme step community. Their passion to serve people in their communities and Polynesian’s worldwide is what keeps them going as they approach year 5. They believe Polynesians bring that extra SAZZ to stepping and their unique talents as Polynesians, the culture that reflects in the way they teach and lead their classes, are why many in the brand are attracted and inspired by the Polynesians in the Xtreme brand. They believe no other fitness brand has inspired healthy fitness journeys amongst the Polynesian communities the way the Xtreme brand has. It has opened the doors for many opportunities for Polynesians in the brand to take a role of leadership in their communities, transform the lives of their students in their classes, and has also created career opportunities for a lot of the Polynesian’s in the brand. They are so happy to see the Polynesian folks come together to inspire health and fitness through step amongst their communities. This is the reason behind why Poly Step was created, to celebrate the movements that continue to be made by Polynesian’s worldwide in this brand each year. We are the people of the Polynesian islands and we are here to inspire the lives of our loved ones throughout fitness together, one step at a time. Let’s Grow!
